Hello all. Know you have heard this a milllion times, but I'm a little new to this. I'm hoping you could answer a few questions for me.
I have one terminal server running Windows 2003 R2. I have terminal services installed with a 50 user cal. I have 2X app server installed on top of it. Nothing else is installed. I used the default install for the 2X app server.
1. What does this mean "Connection to Localhost:81 failed"? It pops up on the monitor from time to time but that's the only message I get.
2. I have my clients setup direct mode because it is the only option that seems to work. IS this the best method?
3. Finally, I am having an issue with folks being kixed off 2X. I'm not sure why. I enabled the loggin option but nothing really stands out. It seems sporatic but it does happen every day. I don't know why maybe 8 out of 25 people would get booted off. It's never the same people.
I did find one error in the log. "Failed to get MAC Address (0x0000001f) A device attached to the system is not functioning". NOt sure if this is a server thing or a client issue.
Any thing helps. Thanks.
