Quickbooks 2011 Premier does not install

When I try to install QB2011 Premier under Parallels Desktop for Mac running a VM Windows XP partition it will never load. I get a Run Dialogue box when when I press RUN....nothing ever happens. I can install it on a PC computer (cough!), so I don't think it is the intuit QB disk itself
 
Are you using Shared Profile? Maybe disable that:
Virtual Machine -> Configure -> Options -> Sharing.
