Quickbooks cannot be updated after Safari Big Sur update

    Currently on MacOS Big Sur 11.2.2. After the update before last, QB's 2019 would not connect to the internet. Worked fine before the update, then not.
    As I always get a new program every two years I got QB 2021 and found it still would not connect. After some work I got it to connect but QB will not update and the Desktop will not function to bring in bank activity. Have spent 6 hours with their support and online research but cannot solve the issue.

    Anybody else have this happen or suggestions? I have checked and reset certificates, TCP settings, etc.

  2. Hi, did you get any specific error message?
    Also did you try to play with the virtual machine network modes?

    Thanks for you reply...I had forgotten about my post! I ended up deleting and reinstalling the Edge browser which then allowed me to do updates to QB. All good now. There were error messages (codes) in the update area. I spent a good bit of time with support running various checks on settings before going on my own to do the Edge reinstall.
