Is there a way for me to export .xlsx files from Quickbooks for Windows if I have MS Office for Mac while running on Parallels? I'm currently only able to export .csv files and it is not pulling in the current formatting of reports.
I think quickbooks pro has both CSV and Xlsx formats available for export because it has latest firmware version! Fordyce
Make sure to update your QB as the latest version of QB pro probably has the feature you are looking for: Make sure QuickBooks for Mac is at latest release: Go to the QuickBooks > Check for Updates. Apply any updates & retry. Go to Finder > Go > Go To Folder. Type ~/Library in the text field and hit Go. In the Library folder, navigate to Caches > Temporary Items folder to see your exported reports. Double click on the report (such as A/R Summary.xlsx) to see if it opens. If it still fails to open, rename it something basic such as report.xlsx or report.xls and see if it opens. If it still fails to open, go back to the report and try exporting a unmodified report to determine if filtering the report broke it.
