Quicken 2012 okay on Parallels 8, Issue after upgrading to Parallels 9

I've never had any issues using Quicken 2012 Premier for Windows on my Parallels 8, Windows 7 image. However, this morning I upgraded to Parallels 9 and now get the following message "The password entered does not match the stored Vault password. Note that the Vault passwords are case-sensitive." I reset the password and then reset all the passwords on the accounts linked in Quicken and while I was able to get around the initial errors, none of the accounts would update due to error cc-503 in quicken. I fought this for a couple of hours and then figured I'd try opening an archive version of this file on my macbook that still runs Parallels 8 - no issues. Then I take the same file and open in it Quicken on my iMac running Parallels 9 and i get the above error again.

I'm at a loss. It looks like it's definitely something goofy with Parallels 9, but I cannot figure out what it is. All works just fine in Parallels 8.

Any help would be much appreciated.
 
I'm also having password problems following an upgrade to Parallels 9. In my case I manually enter a password but it is apparently altered in transmission causing an error at the financial institution. I was locked out by my bank after three tries. This problem appeared immediately after an upgrade to Parallels 9 and never was a problem under Parallels 8. Kind of a bummer especially since Quicken is the main reason I use Parallels.

(Yes, I'm 100% sure I used the correct password and the problem occurs with all my financial accounts.)

I'm using Quicken 2010. Under Parallels 7 there was no problems.
After upgrade yesterday to Parallels 9, Quicken do not accept passwords (copy/paste).
I found out this strange behavior: when you copy something in Mac OSX and paste it in Quicken there is missing the last character ever.
Try it: after copy your password and paste into Quicken, type your last character manually at the end of the digits and you can login.

Nevertheless I can't update my accounts.
I think Quicken has a general problem with transmission of passwords after update to parallels 9.
I'm very pissed!

Update:

Problem solved.

The main cause is the faulty transmission (copy / paste) from Mac OSX to Quicken in Parallels.
Here, the last character is not transferred!
After I had no access to my password safe, I had deleted the QEL file to create a new password safe .
In the new password safe again I had created via copy / paste the passwords for all accounts. But because of the error, the last character in all passwords was missing!
After I had the last character entered for all the passwords by hand, everything works again.
Now I can use Quicken again.

But I have wasted a whole day for this crap!

But the original error in Parallels 9 persists:
By copy / paste will not transmit the last character into Quicken.

Thanks for your post. That one saved me a day I guess.

Pls. read these forums AND fix this issue asap. It is obviously not supportive for one of the major benefits using parallels. Go and get this statement right again pls. "With Parallels Desktop for Mac, you can seamlessly run both Windows and Mac OS X applications side-by-side without rebooting. ". It is a great piece of software. THANKS.
 
I just updated Parallels (Build 9.0.23126 released Oct 16) and the issue is now resolved.


What I ended up doing before the fix was paste the password into notepad first and then copy/paste into quicken. Thank goodness Parallels resolved this issue!
