Receiving an error when trying to activate license on new mac

I have a license that I purchased previously for Parallels 14. I am trying to activate the license on my new mac that I just got and I am getting the error "Unable to perform the operation because this license key cannot be used for this version of Parallels Desktop." Is it because I am trying to activate it on Parallels 15? Is there a workaround? I am very happy with Parallels 14 and don't need 15.

Hi MichaelS114. Please click on this link to download Parallels Desktop 14 for Mac and install it. Then activate the product using the same license and it should work.
