reduce virtual hdd size?

Even so I don't need to dramatically reduce the size of the volume, which is what this tool is for...
I just want the .pvm to be closer in size to the amt of space currently used on the virtual hard disk.

Okay...

You are saying that I should not bother at all with compactor because ITS_Laptop.pvm is a transported VM?
This is dissapointing because I want to maintain the same speed and only require a small reduction from 19.65 to approx 10gb!
 
I don't want to drastically reduce space being used along with speed. (compressor)
I just want to mildly reduce size and maintain speed. (compactor)

I am going to try compactor once more now that I have edited DiskDescriptor.xml
It may work better this time, let's wait and see...

Did you get my last two or three posts?!?

It seems to have only compacted it by .01gb... this is ridiculous...
I guess my only option next is to try compressor on the original .pvm

I'll be back for help with compactor if compressor makes the VM too slow.
 
Probably you are missing that I am asking to create ticket in support to investigate situation.
So, let me clarify.

2. Either register if you haven't yet, or create ticket in support

Situation is very interesting, and we would like to check it.
Please note, we also provide support in French, Spain, German, so feel free to use your native language

I'm not sure I want to try the latest update build (beta) as I'll have to use the temporary beta license.
And I think it's about to expire soon.....

If there's no issue with me plugging in my legit license once the beta license expires then I might...
