Remove red bars from application icons

Hello,

I am using Parallels now for three days and so far it's great. One thing that bugs me are the two red bars covering each application icon and the icon of Parallels itself. Is it possible to somehow remove these bars from the icons?

It is because your Windows Virtual Machine is in coherence mode, please exit from coherence mode as suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/115171 and check how it goes.

The user just doesn't like the Parallels icon overlaid on the app icons and the Parallels icon itself.
