Remove "Winodws 8 Applications" icon from launchpad

Remove "Winodws 8 Applications" icon from launchpad after uninstall

I uninstalled my parallels desktop installation by dragging the .app into the trash and removed Windows 8 Applications directory from user directory. Also, I followed the instructions given here: http://kb.parallels.com/en/114624 . However, in launchpad there is still the "Winodws 8 Applications" icon which I cannot remove. How can I remove it?

Hi,

Try to trash it manually, go to your Mac HD/Users/[Your Username]/ and delete Applications (Parallels) folder. Restart your Mac and see if it's still there.
