Replace Win 8.1 Pro with plain 8.1

I recently received message regarding expiration of Win 8.1 preview on my parallels 9.
I followed link to upgrade but did not realize 8.1 pro cost. I did not authorize it and so I am in limbo trying to decide what to do.
I could use Win 7 (free) or Win 8.1 for a modest cost. Do I have to get rid of 8.1 Pro before installing either of the options or can I just load over it? I would use a disk version.

Hey Kerrye,

You can either keep your current virtual machine or delete it - it will not conflict with a new one.
