F fibtastic Bit poster Apr 8, 2006 #1 I have a Gig of ram in my machine but I can not set the Reserved memory limit to anything higher than 96MB. Is this just a problem for me or is it a limitation of beta 1 & 2?

A anshar Member Apr 8, 2006 #2 It is really strage bug. It is slow death to run VM with 96M reserved memory. And what do you mean by "stuck" - is it avalable maximum or just "only possible" value?

F fibtastic Bit poster Apr 8, 2006 #3 On the slider in the memory preferences panel it is both the minimum and maximum value.

C clarifix Member May 17, 2006 #5 same problem, beta 6 Same problem with the 2.1 beta6, running on 1 GB memory. Replaced a DIMM, upped memory to 1.5 GB, reserved memory limit still stuck at 96 MB. Left and right side of Memory tab show 96 MB. Running OS X 10.4.6 on a Dell D800.
