Am I confusing functionality in Fusion with Parallels? How do I get the windows desktop resolution to resize when I drag the Parallels window to a new size? I don't necessarily know in advance what the exact resolution is --- non-standard sizing that I need to have snap into place. Any way to do this?

Do you have the latest build and Parallels tools installed? It just 'works' by default here...

Huh, ok. I think I do:
Build 3188
Parallels tools is installed
Adapter Type: Paralllels Video Driver, 16MB memory
Sound right? Is there a setting which toggles this behavior or a config file setting to verify?

There is a setting buried in the Properties Window I do believe. I can search it out if you need me to....

I think you might be confusing the Change Mac OS X resolution in full screen setting.
I finally got it working by adding 1 custom resolution to the screen resolutions list. I had that setting enabled and disabled and it didn't work. However, as soon as I added a 2560x1600 custom screen resolution it started resizing correctly. Quirky! But it works.
