Resized HDD and can't boot now

I resized my HDD file using the Image Tools (increase image size option)
I can no longer boot from it or the XP CD since.
The VM is stuck on the BIOS screen, with the memory display.
No option to boot from CD either and no error message (no boot device for example)

How can I fix this?
 
I had the same problem...

I did exactly what you are describing...I believe what we actually did was overwrite the HDD image. If I remember correctly, the dialog box button said "recreate". I could not fix it so I reinstalled XP (fortunately, I had not really used XP yet).

I know that does not help you any - maybe someone from Parallels has a solution?
