Resizing Kali Partition

I installed Kali 2024.2 from within Parallels. I then resized the drive to 128GB. When I went to resize the / partition (/dev/sda2) it wouldn't let me. I took a look and it seems all the free space went to a partition called linux-swap, not unallocated like the images here: https://kb.parallels.com/129758/ . It wont let me do anything with the swap partition - mount/unmount, delete, etc.

How do I resize my / partition in Kali?
 
Alright, so I managed to use swapoff to turn off the swap partition then delete it. I then resized my / partition. I then resized the swap partition to 16GB using gparted. I then applied all my changes. Now my Kali instance is taking a really long time to boot up but is otherwise responsive. Any suggestions?

Just a headsup: I got it working by changing the UUID for my swap partition in initramfs and fstab.

Now the network isn't working. Fully up-to-date Kali 2024.3 does not work. It's broken. Going back to UTM.
 
Correction: 2024.4 is the latest version.
I got the networking working, too. We're all good. If anyone wants a walk-through on how to resize your drive and partition in Kali 2024.4, let me know.
