This isn't a question, but a resolution.
I recently got parallels for my new mac because I wanted to run my copy of Final Fantasy VII for PC.
Anyway. It worked the first time, but when I went back to try and play it, but none of the background graphics appeared. So I tried all the usual things, uninstall and reinstall, new user account etc but nothing worked.
I was about to get some email support when this http://kb.parallels.com/112983 appeared. This resolved my issue by isolating Mac from PC, so it's there if you need it.
