Resource Allocation

    Hi,
    I just wanted to find out, how is the host resource allocated when I assigned CPU to a virtual machine. Say I assign 2 cores, does it mean that 2 core is dedicated to the VM? or the VM can use up to two cores of processing power?

    Sorry. I don't have the answer, but it is a good question. I am trying just now to figure this "resource allocation" thing out.

    Hope some knowledgeable user will answer.
