Resume Windows

I have noticed when I resume windows XP or Vista from Suspend sometimes The keyboard and mouse will not respond to anything. If I do Actions>send keys>ctrl-alt-del wait for that window to open (which takes a minute or so) and then click cancel everything works. Other times when I resume I don't need to do this.

Any ideas??

My suggestion is don't suspend/resume Windows inside of a VM. When exiting, shut down Windows (Vista or XP) via its own standard shut down method...Start>turn off computer. DS

my VM can take up to 2 mins to respond to keyboard/mouse commands when resuming from suspend.... its just the VM getting itself back to a running state, just need to be patient.

that is because you see an image of the desktop as it was first and not a functional desktop
- more stylish than a startup scren

don't use suspend too much
best to use the VM like a real windows machine

shutting down from the start menu and so on is better house keeping
