I have the hard drive pulled from my 2009 iMac with a Parallels partition on it. I'd like to connect it externally to either a Windows 10 laptop or a MacBook Pro running High Sierra to access Windows user application files for retrieval. I have connected it first to the W10 laptop. It wasn't read. Connecting it to my MBP-HS seems to show only the OSX partition. Can you be of assistance? Regards - Barry

  2. Hi, please clarify, you can connect your external device to Windows, but cannot access Parallels files?

Thanks for the response. When connecting to the W10 laptop the drive is not recognized. I'm sure it is formatted for the MAC. I just assumed I would be able to "see" the Windows partition created for PD.

If I connect to my MBP I see the OSX files. If I try to run PD from there a message is issued stating this version of PD won't run under my MBP OS (High Sierra).

    Making any sense here?
