Right Click on MBP

Just installed Ubuntu 11.04, and I don't seem to be able to issue a right click. How do I do it? I tried enabling Assistive Technologies but even a prolonged trackpad click doesn't bring up any contextual menu.

There is a topic on that (mine, actually) at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1046568 that also works in a Linux guest OS running in a Parallels VM on a MacBook Pro.
