run windows 8 without open window PD9

can I run PD 9 without main window? I
just need to access it via remote desktop from other mac on same network.
I am running PD on headless mac mini and connecting to windows from mbp with microsoft remote desktop app from app store.
can i run without main window being open?
 
Hi adarkenigma,

On your Parallels Desktop 9, please change the mode of network to Bridged mode by going to :

VM Config (http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) -> Options -> Hardware -> Network 1 -> Change it to Bridged mode.

Also make sure the computer from which you are trying to perform the remote connection also set to Bridged mode.

Now try to access the Virtual Machine via remote desktop and you should be able view and access it.

If the above solution doesn't work, you may also try re-installing Parallels Tools on Windows VM running on PD 9 : http://kb.parallels.com/4841

I can already connect to windows 8 VM (its on bridge mode) with remote desktop app.
I would like to run windows 8 without having to see the main window, VM box if it self if you will.

can run VM in healdless mode or background mode?
 
that sounds bit much for home users. (not very cost effective)
I did some digging and with prlctl i was able to start VM without GUI.
I wish there was way to automate start on VM at login and suspend VM at log out.
