Running OSX from external drive

    I have 10.14 installed on a bootable external SSD and would like to run it as a parallels VM - can anyone tell me how to add it as a VM to parallels?

    you cant. you need to start from scratch and make a VM and install 10.14. The ability to do like a boot camp only works for windows

    AFAIK it is possible to boot from external SSD using PD15 Pro

    Yes, you can boot Mac OS from external SSD and HDD.
