Saved as format choice

Let us save screen snapshots as jpeg images and not just png files. Some apps and websites don't accept png files. Having a setting to choose would be excellent.

 

I can only make PNG's; is there an option to change the image format? I haven't found one!

 

This feature was added in Toolbox 1.7 update

 

Ability to chose format capture selected area to: pdf, jpg, etc.

Hey @GaryB10, @Shathish@Parallels is mistaken here. If you go to Capture tools' Preferences (by clicking with a right mouse button on tool's icon), you will see the option to change capture format: JPG, PNG, PDF, TIFF, etc
