screen resolution problem in xp

Hi you guys, I am running a windows xp in PD 8 in a retina MBP. Every time when xp starts up, the screen resolution is 2880x1800, the same as in mac, and everything looks very small, so I have to adjust the resolution to 1440x900, but next when xp starts up, the resolution comes back to 2880x1800 again and I have to change every time.
So is there any way to keep the screen resolution? Thanks in advanced
 
Parallels tools

Good afternoon! I have seen the same problem with Parallels tools installed. If tools are not installed the screen resolution is normal after reboot. Good luck!
