Hi

When a user is using a published application, and want to take a screenshot using alt+printscreen, he gets his whole desktop and not just the active application like normal. Is there something we can do about this. I tried with a few screengrabbing programs too, but the results was the same.

Hello,
You need to use screengrabbing sw and get a screenshot of an area.
Or you can maximize application.

Rene please report the issue to support. I am sure that a valid work around would be found without using other applications.

As taken from the Remote Desktop Connection help file:

Using Terminal Server shortcut keys

CTRL+ALT+Minus (-) symbol on the numeric keypad
Places a snapshot of the active window, within the client, on the Terminal server clipboard (provides the same functionality as pressing PrintScrn on a local computer.)

CTRL+ALT+Plus (+) symbol on the numeric keypad
Places a snapshot of the entire client window area on the Terminal server clipboard (provides the same functionality as pressing ALT+PrintScrn on a local computer.)

Just tested CTRL+ALT+Minus (-) within a 2x Published Application and it worked, allowing me to capture only the active window and paste it into Paint running locally... (6.0 server and client)

:D
