Secure entry causes failure of critical software

Parallels seems to have turned on "Secure Entry" without asking, and it has caused software I rely on that uses keystroke tracking to be disabled. I have to get secure entry turned off, or I have to abandon Parallels and go back to Fusion. Where are the settings for this so I can turn it off?
