Security and Backup Questions

I loaded Parallel 7 onto my Mac, and I love it. I am new to Mac and Parallel.

I am backing up the Mac using Time Machine, but am not sure it is backing up my Outlook PST, Quickbooks files for the Windws stuff in Parallel. Do I need to back that up separately?

Also, do you use an anti-virus program on Parallels? I see ads for Kapestry? Is it any good? I want to just load eset. Need some opinions.
