Self signed certificate problems

Hi
I've been using the self signed certificate for SSL for about a year. My users started getting a message that the certificate had expired. I generated a new certificate and chose the new file in both the "Private Key" box and "Certificate File" box on the SSL/TLS tab. Now users get "This certificate is not yet valid. <11>". The users are still able to use the published application, they just get that error. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

is ensured that the date on the computer is set right?

The time and date are right. Actually, I just got in too much of a hurry. After an hour or so the warning stopped popping up, so I guess the client just needed time to update.
