Shared Folder Permissions

Hi all
A cople of issues bundled.
1. I can't reinstall 1970. I keep getting the message that a newer version exists even when I trash everything parallel in sight and the if I proceed I'm told there's nothing to instal.

2. I want to reinstall because I havenever been able to get shared folders working as I'd expect. I set it up in the configuration but in Win the answer is always that I don' have permissions for the ://psf etc folder. So its there but I can't read or write. What permissions need to be there for it to work.

3. I've read here in these forums that the newest beta supports drag and drop file sharing through coherence. Cohenerence doesn't stay dark when clicked and no drag and drop. Any clues anyone ?

Did you use the Uninstall tool?

Please uninstall Parallels with uninstaller application is available in the package with software.
After that install 1970 build or 3106 beta if you want test new features and Parallels Tools suitable for this version obligatory.

I thought i had done that but maybe not properly in my thrashing around to get the mouse drivers working in Win.

I'm happy to stay with 3106 now I have the tools properly installed for mouse control, but this begs my main question. What am I missing in setting up the shared folder or how do I get drag and drop sharing to work ? So far I can't say that I can get Coherence to work if that's what supposed to do it.
