Shared folders from macOS host not visible in Linux VM since updating to Sonoma 14.4

    I've updated my macOS host to Sonoma 14.4 and within the Linux VM the shared macOS folders are no longer visible.
    Previously I could see them under `/media/psf`
    Also nothing under `/mnt`

    I paid for the upgrade of Parallels to Version 19.3.0 (54924) -- but I still cannot access host Mac folders on my Linux VM.
    Very disappointing. For me this greatly reduced the value of Parallels.

    For us to further investigate this issue, while reproducing the issue and collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post.

    Ahh, johnc113 solved my problem:

    I had to reinstall the Parallels Linux VM tools.
    I had tried previously but they were failing. It succeeded this time.

    The shared folder is working great -- thank you.
