Shared Windows 10 on High Sierra, VM "ID is invalid ... remove and add again" when switching users

I followed the KB post detailing "sudo chmod ..." to give permissions to all users. "Windows 10.pvm" in /Users/Shared/Parallels. Works great for either of the mac user accounts, but every time I switch to the other account, I get the error and have to add the VM to the desktop configuration.

Please point me in the right direction.
 
FYI ... As a new subscriber, I decided to call support and they verified that everything is configured correctly. Technician has escalated my ticket for further investigation. I hope they will be contacting me soon.
 
RESOLVED ... Even though Level 1 support could not find any problem, Level 2 support did resolve the issue by wiping the entire configuration. They didn't take the time to find what setting was wrong, but I'm up and running now. These are the steps: http://kb.parallels.com/en/123414
