Sharing internet from Windows to Mac OS

Hello,
My situation is the following: I am using a USB wireless network adaptor for which the drivers only exist on the Windows platform. I thus have Windows Vista SP1 running as my guest operating system on a Boot Camp partition in Parallels Desktop and controlling the USB device. Windows connects fine to my 802.11g wireless network and has access to internet. I would like to share the internet connection back to the host operating system, in this case Mac OS X 10.6.2.

I have tried many solutions found with google and several user forums, all to no avail. There are various places where settings can be changed but no combination that I have tried has proven successful yet. The main panels are of course:

1) OS X System Preferences "Network" control panel.
2) Parallels Desktop main preferences, network section.
3) Parallels Desktop preferences specific to each virtual machine, network adaptor section.
4) Window's Vista "Manage network connections" control panels and "Network & Sharing" center.

Any help greatly appreciated !
 
Yes, that was one of the first documents I found when searching on google. I followed the steps as well as I could, trying to best account for the fact that the tutorial describes the procedure using Parallels Desktop 4 and Windows XP while I am using Parallels Desktop 5 and Windows Vista.

Whatever I tried, Safari running on the host system (Mac OS X) would never display any webpage and always report "You are not connected to the internet".

So, let's review

1. the VM has HostOnly network adapter added

2. the DHCP-range for HostOnly network adapter (in PD's preferences) is set to 192.168.0.128-192.168.0.254

3. The router in Mac OS NetworkPreferences on ParalelsHostOnly is set to 192.168.0.1

4. The "Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection" is enabled on USB network connection in Windows

If you will (while internet through USB is connected)

1) click Start -> Run and execute cmd.exe. Type in the appeared window command "ipconfig /all" (make sure that all output fits to the window). Then, without closing the window, click Parallels Destkop menu "Help"->"Report a Problem", send a problem report (it is not necessary to provide description) and post here the report ID

2) start in Mac OS /Application/Utilities/Terminal and execute in "netstat -nr" and post here the output

3) verify that from Terminal the command "ping 192.168.0.1" works

I could review it and may be point to potential problem

I have the exact same issues as the OP. I've done all of the same steps, and I have contacted your support, and after many emails back and forth I can't seem to get this figured out.

I ran the steps you listed below and here is the info. I have also done so many steps from different things I"ve read online I may have messed something up. With the usb broadband attached under network connections I have under Dial-up (3G, disconnected, usb data modem driver) then under Lan or High-speed internet I have Local Area Connection, connected, parallels ethernet adapter, local area connection 3, connected, realtek rtl8029(as)based E..., and then Local Area connection 2 with a red x on it, network cable unplugged, wimax network adaptor. (this only shows up when I attach the divice, the other 2 stay there all the time)

1. The report ID number is - 5035869
2. The output of netstat -nr is
