Shutdown as an application "favorite"?

When my mother calls and says her WIndows has crashed... I like to get her to shutdown and restart. Coherence is AMAZING, but it doesn't help her shutdown (she'll restart the Mac, suspend Windows, etc....).

Anyone played with putting a "shutdown" application in the favourites menu?
Any hints?
 
Any ideas anyone?
I need an easy way to shutdown my Windows and from Coherence there seems to be no real option.
