Shutdown VM Guest after 2X client Logout

Hi all,
in the release 11 is possible to configure (default and per-guest override) what action to do at the user logout event (related to vmWare Guest VDI).

At this moment is possible to:
  • Keep current state (leave VM powered-on)
  • Stop (PowerOff the VM)
  • Suspend (put VM in Suspend mode)
  • Reset (perform a VM hard-reset)

Is it possible to put off the VM using "Shutdown" method?
... because the "stop" call "Poweroff" command on vmware.

Thanks for contacting 2X forums.

Presently as standard unused guests are paused. There is an option to deleted expired guests also. There is no mechanism to shut down guests at the moment, although such mechanism can be put in place dependent on the hypervisor. Regardless of paused or shutdown status of the virtual machine the 2X VDI Agent would start it up again.
