I have a German mac and I am running a Windows7 partition with parallels 6. On a German keyboard you get to the @-sign with the keyboard shortcut ALT+L. Unfortunately this does not work on the described system and I could not find another way to get to it. BTW, I had the same issue on a XP partition, so it seems to be a basic issue at least for German keyboards. Is there any way to set the short cut for a particular letter/sign? Thanks a lot for you help! Ready to pull my hair out! Martin
Found the solution by chance I just found the solution by chance: for some reason the key combination ALT + Q results in a "@"-sign. Strange thing is that I have a Germany language Parallels version and a German version Windows 7 OS together with the German Mac keyboard, and if you look at the keyboard setting it shoud still be ALT + L. Anyway ...
@sign under windows paralells on a Mac Book Pro running UBUNTU Had the same problem today, thanks to your comment I found the solution, ufff... needless to say that it only works with alt on the right side combining the Q. regards roschi
