Slowness Windows xp

Hello all , i have a Windows XP Guest on a Snow Leopard host that is having extreme difficulty with speed. When accessing a file share located on the network and click browse on a website to attach a image ( such as gmail.com to attach a document ) it is extremely slow. Only when trying to attach. Everything else seems normal.

Any ideas?
 
Anyone from parallels availble for help on this one ? This is stoping my company from upgrading all our machines to snow leopard. Any help would be appreciated.
