Snow Leopard as a HOST

I see a few threads/posts about trying to install Snow Leopard or Snow Leopard as a guest, but I am want to know if it works with Snow Leopard as the HOST.

I have pre-ordered SL, and from the news I see it will be out August 28th, probably. (1 week from today). Some details about Parallels on a SL host would be great, like....

1. Will the current version work?
2. Will it need a patch to work?
3. If a patch is needed, when will it be avalible?
4. Will there be a new 64bit version to take full advantage of SL?

I want to move to SL ASAP, and I dont want to go back to Fusion.

It took a while of searching the site, but I found and copied the following:

Run Mac OS X Snow Leopard as a guest in a VM or as the host New! (experimental)

I wish that there would be an official announcement on the site from Parallels, but according to what is in the download section for purchasing Parallels for the Desktop it will work.

As I must have my VM to run my business, if anything goes wrong I will be on the phone ASAP.

Of course, I have bitmap backups of my entire hard drive in the safe should anything go wrong.
 
Yep I NEED to have a Windows VM for work, as about 30% of what I do is in Windows. I do not care about running OS X VM's as I am running OS X as a host, or I would not even be on this site.

Some communication from the company would be really nice. I am SURE they have been involved with the beta builds of SL.
 
Download Build 3846

I have downloaded and installed build 3846 (after a false start or two) from the downloads section.

I can confirm that it does work with 64 bit Snow Leopard for my XP VM without issue so far.

I suggest that everyone wanting to run Snow Leopard in 64 bit download this version and give it a try.

So far, it seems to work without issue. At least on my XP Professional VM using Snow Leopard 64 bit as a Host.
