Solaris 9 Resolution

Can somebody provide tips on getting a 1680x1050 resolution on Solaris 9 for a 17" MacBook Pro?

You need to edit your xorg.conf file in /etc. It's pretty much the same drill for all flavors of Linux, Unix, and Solaris - see:
