Somehow managed to install Windows 10 without uninstalling Windows 7

Ok, so I thought I was upgrading from Windows 7 to 10, but when I installed it, widows 7 is still installed. How do I get rid of windows 7? And not just untinstall, but also reclaim that hard disk space?

I called support, and they found that Windows 7 was running in the background. They opened Activity monitor, did a search for Windows 7, and did a force quit on it. Once complete, the option to remove Windows 7 appeared as described in the Knowledge Base Article. Thank you.
