sophos declaring prl_pv32.sys part of rootkit

I have Sophos Antivirus installed on my windows xp vm. Sophos is claiming that prl_pv32.sys is part of the TDSS trojan and wants to clean it up. If I let Sophos delete that file, what will happen to my VM?
