Sound only on left Channel

Hi,

I only get sound on the left channel; otherwise everything' s ok on the Mac OS X, I have tried adjusting all sound control panes but no success. I use Windows XP and Win Media Player.

Any help very welcome

What concrete sound do you get on one channel? All of them or specific one?

On the left I seem to be getting everything I should get but nothing at all on the right one; I have checked in the control panel, it is the "official" right channel that does not work, mainly in Windows Media player (I have 2Gb of Ram).

Hmmm... we should check this, but i do not remember anything like that bug insede our QA team.

May you specify more details?

Do you use internal Mac sound or any kind of external ones?
What hardware do you have (mac book, mac pro, iMac) ?
Can you check something like youtube or internet radio not through Windows Media Player?
