Spinning Gear Next to Virtual Machine - Won't Load

Hello,

I have a user whose Parallels VM won't load. When Parallels is started, there is a "spinning gear" next to the virtual machine (a set of lines which is highlighted in rotation). Clicking on the VM does not make it load. What is happening and what can I do to start the VM?

Version is Parallels 4.0 build 3848. Thanks.

I've since learned that the VM was suspended just after it had gotten a "Blue Screen of Death" and won't resume from this state.

I was able to work around this problem by pressing the "Stop and Edit" button after I removed the VM from the list of machines, then re-added it.
