SQL Server 2005 Backup

Hello

I want to backup SQL Server 2005 databases to USB attached hard drive. USB drive maps under Windows XP as a network drive which is no good for SQL Server.

The only way to backup from SQL Server is by using UNC path, like "\\Computer\Drive\Folder". However when I try to use Parallels Shared Networking Adapter IP address, SQL Server fails to find the address.

Any ideas on how to make whole thing work?

Pls consider above question closed. I simply added USB connected drive to the list of VM USB devices (VM Configuration -> USB Controller) and said drive appeared in Windows XP as a local one, which was then seen by SQL Server.
