Starmoney 7 @ Coherence @ Parallels Desktop 6

When I start up Starmoney 7 in Coherence mode (Windows XP on Parallels Desktop Build 6.0.11992), the program window is not shown. It only appears when I switch from Coherence to Window mode.

I found questions regarding this problem in other forums; no solutions, though.

Does anybody have any idea what is going on and, more importantly, how to fix this? Running Parallels in Window mode is definitely not an option.

I am sorry to say, but StarMoney 7.0 will not work in Coherence/Crystal Mode under Parallels Desktop and it cannot be fixed. The cause of the issue is not in the way how Coherence in Parallels Desktop works, but in the way how StarMoney uses Windows window subsystem to secure its own window from different kind of hacks. It means that StarMoney application window is so secure that it does not allow _any_ processes, and Coherence process as well to interact with its Window. This is why you see the issue when StarMoney started in Coherence view mode.

It seems that this new security system was implemented in Starmoney starting with version 7.0, because Starmoney 6.0 is working fine in Coherence without any issues.

You can contact Starmoney support regarding that special behavior of this application, however, I think they are not likely to decrease application security to be compatible with other products to be able to use it in Coherence under Parallels Desktop.

The only way to work with Starmoney is either Window or Full Screen mode due to its security limitation.

I'm sorry but I can't fully agree with the explanation given above. As I was having the same issues with StarMoney and Parallels in Coherence Mode I just tried out VMWare Fusion and StarMoney just works fine in Unity Mode (which is the equivalent to Coherence Mode). This really makes the situation look like there is a problem with Coherence Mode and not with StarMoney. I'd really prefer using Parallels, but StarMoney is a must-have so I really hope getting a fix somehow.
One way to get the StarMoney window visible is to switch to Window mode and back to Coherence mode, which is kind of really annoying. Another bug in that context is, that when I move the StarMoney window in Coherence mode I'll get a gray background window, which should normally move together with the StarMoney window, but it doesn't.
