Windows 11 on an M1 Mac mini is failing to start, after upgrading to Version 18.1.0 (53311)

- sat there for hours essentially looping

what do I do to correct this and use Windows
- it's terribly frustrating as this is a one app installation, and I'm going to have to travel on a Sunday to use a windows machine instead Ito accomplish what I need instead of editing the files on my Mac...

As we can see, the issue was caused by some glitch in Parallels Tools that prevented it from updating correctly, and our Support Team has already assisted you by manually reinstalling Parallels Tools during a remote session.

They have also collected some technical data, and we have sent it to our Development Team for a review to understand why an automatic Parallels Tools update could have failed.

Thanks will keep that, had tried scenario 1 unsuccessfully ( with d/l'd tools rather than CD)

the support team got me to delete & reinstall parallels.
(Slightly different process to VMware & crossover)
Now working well
