Startup of Parallels "Machine List" is ssllooww

I have only two VMs in my machine list, but it still takes Parallels (8.0.18354) about 30-45 seconds to startup, and that's before I even select one of the VMs to boot. The two VMs are 1) a bootcamp Windows 7 installation on an SSD, and 2) a VM image running of a Raid0 array.

My MP is usually no slowboat, with OSX and Apps running of an Accelsior card, and enough RAM to go around.

Any suggestions why this is suddenly happening?
 
Nope, the application is still slow to startup. Once the Machine list is up, it is fast, but it takes almost a minute to get the list up and running.

The fact that I use two different medias should not affect this, as both VMs are on the Raid0, just one of them is connected to a bootcamp on a separate SSD.
