Sticky Keys -- A Plea!!!!

Some of us have to use Sticky Keys in order to use our Macs. It doesn't work under Parallels -- or rather, it half works:

pressing a modifier key twice locks it, and Parallels recognizes the key as pressed (Shift, for example to capitalize the next key pressed.)

However pressing a modifier key once (so that the next keystroke releases the 'pressed' key), parallels doesn't understand that the modifier key is pressed...

Frustrating.
 
To make Sticky keys work in a Windows VM, you have to turn them on in Windows. To do this press the left shift key 5 times in a row (or turn it on in the control panel->accessibility).

They work fine here.

Tested with Sticky keys turned on in both Mac and Win XP.

You do get strange results if you run it with Sticky keys turned on in one OS and off in the other...

Click on "start", in the big menu you will see "control panel". Click on "control panel". This will open a window with a bunch of items. Click on "Accessibility Options". Click on "Accessiblity Options" again. Check the "Use StickyKeys" check box.

You need your control panel to be in "classic mode" in order to see the accessability options.

You can also turn it on by holding the left shift key for 5 seconds.
 
Thanks, all, but I really, absolutely, positively do not have an Accessability control panel in start>Control panels (Add Hardware, Add/Remove programs, Administrative tools, Adobe Gamma....) . Holding Shift, Hitting it five times -- nothing.

Well, you've been ripped off then. Seriously, it should just be there. Try looking in windows help. That should be on the start menu somewhere. Look for Accessability and see what it says. Please post back with the result. It should just be there. We'll get to the bottom of this somehow.
