Still 8GB per VM limit in Parallels 8?

Hi,

I am a software developer and have a 16GB rMBP. I want to assign around 12GB to a single VM. This was not possible in Parallels 7.

Can someone confirm if you can assign more than 8GB now?

Yes, as far as I can see you can still only configure 8 GB and 8 CPUs max per VM.

On my MBP I can select 16Gb and 8 cores for a VM, which is what I've got... I haven't tried it, and it whinges above 4GB, but certainly 8 works fine.

Latest download of v8.
