Previously when I ran Compressor from within the running machine it went through some prompts and then compressed my .hdd file.
Now when I run it nothing seems to happen and if I look at the drop down menu it indicates it is running but there is no activity.
Also, if I look at the size of the .hdd file it shows 6.9GB but in the preferences pane of Parallels it says it is 2.9GB. So, I tried the compressor from that pane, it seemed to be working then when it finished my .hdd still showed as 6.9 GB in Fiinder.
I guess I have two questions:
1) Why does nothing seem to happen when running compressor from inside XP.
2) Why does the preferences pane indicate the file is 2.8 GB but finder says 6.9?
