I'm not sure what happened to my Vista .pvm but when it starts up, it gets stuck on "trying to boot from Primary Master IDE drive.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Parallels 5 (not following full instructions from How to remove Parallels Desktop 5 completely - just what the uninstaller app gave me) but still had the same problem. My XP .pvm file is starting up fine.

Luckily I was able to go to the winvista.hdd file within the "show package contents" and double click on it to open up some mounting thing and now I'm just pulling off all the files I need. Later today, I'll unzip my .pvm back up and see if I can just set it all up again. If not, since I know this .pvm backup file was working before, I'll try to follow the full instructions on How to remove Parallels Desktop 5 completely and see if that fixes the problem
