Student discount code not working

Hello everyone,

I just got an email with a discount code for Parallels 12, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Does it take some time before the code starts to work or do I need to do something other than just typing in the code for a cost reduction? In the mail there is a link which forwards me to the shopping cart with "Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac" in it and I can type the code in below that. But like I said it doesn't get accepted.
